Sandra M. Pero's Obituary
Sandra M. Pero, 83, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Johnson Memorial Hospital surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Alexander and Margaret (Mayer) Burger. Sandy retired as a nursing supervisor from Johnson Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her four daughters, Deborah Stegmaier, Susan Wilson, Alyson Lemieux and her husband John, and Lisa Knightly and her husband Gary; 13 grandchildren, Nicole, Denielle and Andrew, Heidi and Kevin, Joshua and Renee, Nathaniel, Alex, Travis and Kristen, Jordan and Stephanie, Jason and Breanne, Lindsey, Michael, Mark and Meg, and Jim; 11 great grandchildren; and two nephews, Carl Mikkelson and his wife Deb, and Matthew Mikkelson and his wife Colleen. She was predeceased by her sister, Andrea Finch. Sandy’s family would like to thank the entire Johnson Memorial Hospital family for all of their care and love. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 2-4 P.M. with a memorial service to take place at 4 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
