I recently learned of Scott’s passing and wanted to share my condolences. Through our industry involvement I have worked with him for many years and have always enjoyed our interactions. I will miss seeing him at LIMRA functions and ok LIMRA projects
I just learned today of Scott's passing. I first met Scott when he was coaching little league. He ended up recruiting me help coach. We had a lot of fun and laughs watching the kids and getting to spend it with them. We used to try and meet up at the Speedway to watch races a couple times a year. My sincerest condolences go out to his Joanne, Brandon and Marissa. I am really saddened by this news. Remember the good times!!!
Joanne, Brandon, and Marissa, terribly sad to hear the news of Scotts passing. He was a great guy, with a ready smile and gave a lot back to the community of Stafford. Sending thoughts and prayers from East Tennesee.
JoAnne, Marissa & Brandon, you are each in my thoughts and prayers. May the love and memories you made as a family bring you comfort. Team Kallenbach has always been so generously in donating clothing to the shelter I volunteered at over the years. Most items I would receive were for the women and children, but when Scott emptied his closet, those guys felt like it was Christmas! I wish you could have witnessed their gratitude. My brother volunteered to do a brownie bowling activity with my daughter. Afterwards, he said that he was surprised to have really enjoyed the event. This was because Scott was there with Marissa and my brother had really enjoyed his personality and outlook.
I didn't really know Scott on a personal level but observed his close interactions with JoAnne and the kids. It is so sad to lose someone so young and my heart goes out to the family.
JoAnne and family - I don't even know where to begin. Scott was such a bright spot in so many lives. He shone brightly as a co-worker and friend. All who knew him knew him to be an incredibly loving husband and Dad. He would light up when speaking of the latest his kids were up to - he was so proud to be their Dad. Our world is a little more dim with his passing, though his light will be with us all.
JoAnne, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Sincere condolences to you, your children and all who loved Scott.
