Sharon L. Higgins' Obituary
Sharon L. (Lucas) Higgins, 68, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Charles and Priscilla (Stocker) Lucas. She previously employed at FedEx Ground as a package handler and most recently an Avon representative. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Stafford. Sharon is survived by her husband of 39 years, Alfred Higgins; son, Cory Higgins and his wife Sarah; two stepchildren, Adam Higgins and his wife Liz Fogarty, and Anne Proulx and her husband Jay; four grandchildren, Logan, Ben, Holden and Harper; and her brother, George Sandman. A calling hour will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by her funeral service at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 8 Church St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Windsor Locks, CT, will be private.
