Sheila Schofield was a beloved friend, a confidant and companion on the road of my life for 58 years. I always joked that she knew me better than my husband and in fact I knew her longer than I have known him. She was honest and reliable and always ready to help or share with her many friends. It was always a two way street she helped her friends and they in turn helped her like a surrogate family. Those who did not know Sheila well tended to look at her and misjudge her and some mistreated her as well. I felt sorry for them. Sheila had a zest for life, she loved dancing, socializing, church, thrifting, shopping, the beach, animals especially cats and cows, and just being with friends. She had many talents including sewing, crocheting, decorating, bargain hunting and others, she was amazing. We shared our joys and our sorrows and she will be sorely missed by all who loved her. May she rest in peace with God.
