She will be missed. Shirley was one of our favorite patients. She was always cheerful and sweet. What a godly woman and a good example for us all. Sincerely, Donna Rosen DMD ( her dentist)

Even through her suffering there were moments when you could still see her eyes light up and see that joy on her face. She made me feel special whenever I entered her room and always showed her gratitude for anyone that was caring for her. May Christ peace and love be with you all.
I met Shirley at the Willimantic Campground and knew her slightly, but truly got to know her at St Joseph's Living Center, where she came to reside and I work. We spoke often about the things of the Lord, I am going to miss those talks so much. Sometimes she would ask for a hug then say "I just need to feel someone near".
I know she has no more pain, and for that I am thankful, on this side of glory she will be missed, but on the other side she is rejoicing with the saints.
God's peace to her family during this time.
Shirley was one of a kind! Special in every way! The Willimantic Camp Meeting Association will not be the same without her. She has touched my life and the life of my children. We will miss her smile and wonderful sense of humor. Her love for the Lord was her greatest gift to us. She has left an amazing legacy and will surely be missed by all. Heaven's gain and our loss.
