What can one say about an amazing fun loving woman. She gave so much to others. Shirl the girl was an icon at Johnson memorial.. a shoulder to cry on and a reality check. The world today is so much sadder with her gone. Her memories I hold dear. Love you Shirley !! I thank you for all your gifts of life and friendship you shared with me. Rest In Peace my friend . Your Aussie ( Lucy as you affectionately called me) .
Sorry for your loss, Shirley would bring us recipes at the senior center Kitchen when she came for lunch. Such a sweet lady, she will be missed. Judy Luce
I knew Shirley from Johnson Hospital. I used to see her every morning when I went to work. We'd walk down the hall together as she headed to the cafeteria to get beverages for everyone or I'd get a wave of she was still at her desk. She was such a nice lady.
I will miss Shirley greatly. I live in #8 at Old Post Village and she lived in #11. Her company enriched my life. She was so entertaining with her humor and comments about life. I feel so sad right now I can't even describe my feelings adequately. Just last week we lost our neighbor in #9. It's just too much to comprehend. I will be at her service with a hurting heart.

Shirley volunteered at JMH in the Same Day Surgery Department for many years. She became not only a friend, but family, know as Grandma Shirl. We loved her and will miss her forever ❤️
