Shirley Thiesing's Obituary
Shirley M. Thiesing, 77, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Max Thiesing, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in New London, CT, daughter of the late Albert and Christine (Babcock) Felden. Shirley had worked at Stafford High School as a custodian for many years, along with owning and operating with her husband Thiesing’s Grocery. Shirley is survived by her two children, Lynn Johnson and Ken Thiesing; two granddaughters, Caroline and Alexandria Johnson; four siblings, Beverly Sanborn, Diana Paris and her husband Frank, Frank Spalding, and Jean Lussier; sister-in-law, Judy Baker; and many close nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Zawisza; and a brother, William Spalding. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 12-3 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 3 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
