Shirley Webb's Obituary
Shirley R. Webb, 70, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Parkway Pavilion, Enfield, CT. She was born in Laing, West Virginia, daughter of the late Orville and Sylvia Marie (Rumberg) Russell. Shirley retired as a supervisor from the Mansfield State Training School. She is survived by her three children, Wilford G. “Sonny” Webb, Jr. of Maine, Richard D. Webb and his wife Leila of Stafford Springs, CT, and Barbara J. Hinckley and her husband Richard of Columbia, CT; eight grandchildren, Jason Webb, Jessica Cooley, Sonnie Hayes, Benjamin Webb, Melissa Hinckley, Christopher Hinckley, Meegan Webb, and Kenney Levitte; five great grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Andrew, Emma, and Connor; two brothers, Richard Russell, and Ronald Russell and his wife Lillian; two sisters, Shelby Stanley and her husband Kenneth, and Janet Russell; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 4-6 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 6 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately in West Virginia. Memorial donations may be made to the Stafford Ambulance Association, 11 Monson Rd., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
