Stanley Gladysz's Obituary
Stanley F. Gladysz, 86, of Orcuttville Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Fox Hill, Vernon, CT. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Bartlomniej and Sophie (Kovel) Gladysz. Stanley worked at the former Stafford Printers and eventually retired from Warren Woolen Company as a maintenance supervisor. He was a member of St. Edward Parish, and the Felix J. O’Neil Council #1395 Knights of Columbus. Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Josephine (Barbieri) Gladysz of Stafford Springs, CT; two children, Gloria Hitchcock of Holland, MA, and Paul Gladysz and his wife Pamela of Stafford Springs, CT; eight grandchildren, Lori Gardner, Hahns Hitchcock, Mary Katherine Volenti, and Paul, Kimberly, Jason, Brian, and Devon Gladysz; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. and on Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
