I want to send my Love and Condolences to the Scroggins family. I, as everyone who knew Stan, am in shock to hear he is no longer with us. I have known him since the fourth grade at Broad Street School and he was forever my friend. As that friend he was always there for me and has made a permanent impression in my heart and soul. I was so happy to have been reunited with him with fellow friends Miney Rowlson, Craig Woodcock, Bill Humphries, a few years ago in Plattsburgh. It had been so long since we had spoken on the phone I cried when speaking with him. I cry now writing this. I miss him and will forever have Stan in my heart. What a great guy he is!!
A story about Stan and me and some of the boys who were out in Tom's (my father) brand new 66' Chevy. It was snowing and we had driven out to John Fee's camp. When backing the car out of the driveway it slid into a post and dented the left rear fender. We got to Stan's house and his Dad came out to see what the prognosis was on the car. He immediately sent Cricket in the house for a plunger. Arriving outside with "this tool" Stan's Dad proceeded to tell me how to suck that big dent out of my Dad's car. Couple good plunges and it worked!. We all had such a relieved laugh together. Growing up with Stan and knowing the
Scroggins family has meant a lot to me as a person in this life we all share. I believe God has Stan and just had sooner plans for him then the rest of us yet to be with him once more.
I send you all my heart felt love and I will always remember Stan Scroggins.
Love
Kenny Phillips
