Stephen Satkowski's Obituary
Stephen B. Satkowski, 86, of East St., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Walter and Josephine (Niedrwieska) Satkowski. Steve was a U.S. Marines Veteran of World War II. He retired as a salesman from North East Distributors. After retirement, he worked as manager of the Big Bunny package store. He enjoyed making folk art crafts and spending time with his family. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Alba E. Satkowski of Stafford Springs, CT; a daughter, Leigh Ann Gronback of Tolland, CT; two grandsons, Sebastian and Jordan Gronback; two brothers, Ted Satkowski and Joseph Satkowski and his wife Shirley, all of Staffordville, CT; a sister, Wanda Falkowski of Rockville, CT; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, John and Peter Satkowski; and two sisters, Jane Seinkowski and Laura Chilkowich. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Funeral services with burial in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be private.
