Stephen Waskiewicz's Obituary
Stephen F. Waskiewicz, 88, resident of Stafford Springs, CT for over sixty years, beloved husband of the late Bertha "Betty" (Zegota) Waskiewicz, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2008. He was born in West Warren, MA, son of the late Ignacz and Franazyka (Kowalcyzk) Waskiewicz. Steve retired as a supervisor from Raytech Industry after 20 years of employment. He was a member of St. Edward Parish, and enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time at home inventing and working on his numerous projects. Steve is survived by his son, Stephen J. Waskiewicz and his wife Sally Ann of Groton, CT; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Frank Waskiewicz of Worcester, MA; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Ronald D. Waskiewicz; and twelve brothers and sisters. Funeral services with burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be private.
