Suquo Garrell's Obituary
Suquo “Suki” Garrell, 48, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. She was born in Endicot, NY, daughter of Price and Karen (VandeBogart) Milam. Suki graduated from the Stafford High School class of 1980, received her Associate Degree from Asnuntuck Community College in 1985, and was a proud Gator having received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the University of Florida in 1992. She worked as an assistant manager for Michael’s Crafts in Enfield. She was a member of the Second Congregational Church of Stafford at West Stafford, where she served as a deacon, and was active in the prayer shawl club. She was also a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop #81 of Stafford. Suki is survived by her husband, Daniel J. Garrell of Stafford Springs, CT; her parents, Price and Karen Milam of Stafford Springs, CT; two brothers, Medgar Milam and his wife Martine of Coventry, CT, and Calon Milam and his wife Terry of Spencer, MA; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Katha Selzer. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 6-8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2 P.M. at the Second Congregational Church of Stafford at West Stafford, 199 West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held in the Spring in West Stafford Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
