Susan Dessert's Obituary
Susan L. Dessert, 55, of Ellington, CT, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2011 at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. She was born in Providence, RI, daughter of Charles J. Holburn and the late Shirley E. (Parker) Holburn. Susan worked at Johnson Memorial Hospital as a laboratory technician for 33 years. She was a member of the Italian Benefit Society Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed gardening. Susan is survived by her loving daughter, Nicole M. Dessert of Ellington, CT; her father, Charles J. Holburn of Stafford Springs, CT; her extended family; and many friends. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 4-7 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.
