Susan Irish's Obituary
Susan (Wynings) Irish, 63, of Stafford, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Hartford, the youngest daughter of the late William T. and Mabel (Crossman) Wynings. Sue grew up in Bloomfield and moved to Stafford to raise her family. Prior to her retirement, she worked at Hobbs Medical in Stafford where she had many dear friends. Sue also worked at Modern School Supply for many years and as a realtor at Somers Real Estate. Sue will be forever remembered for her love of nature, God’s creatures, fishing, Misquamicut Beach, and love of her grandchildren. But most of all, she will be remembered for her kind and loving heart. Sue is survived by her daughter, Melissa Bragdon and her husband Roger, daughter, Nicole Kopek and her husband Gerald, son, Matthew Irish and his wife Stacie, grandchildren: Jessica and Lauren Bragdon, Nicholas, Tyler, Johnny, and Olivia Kopek, and Amber and Stella Irish, sister, Donna Fenton and her husband Stephen, and sister, Janet Punty and her husband Donald. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 4-6 P.M. with a memorial service to take place at 6 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
