Susan M. Pallanck's Obituary
Susan M. Pallanck, 91, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Kubanack) Marvonek. Susan worked as an office clerk at the Traveler’s, and was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and the Enfield Women’s Club. Susan is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, George Pallanck; five children, Laurie Sherren and her husband David, Susan Furey and her husband Thomas, Karen Barnes and her husband John, Barry Pallanck and his wife Patricia, and Robert Pallanck; 12 grandchildren, Kara Bolf and her husband Steve, Kevin Rossi and his wife Miriam, Matthew Sherren and his wife Erin, Sydney Sherren, T.J. Furey, Michael Furey, Kelsey Barnes, Jessica Barnes, Alyson Pallanck, Greg Pallanck, Adam Pallanck and his fiancé Jen Artruc, and Kyle Pallanck; six great grandchildren, Mason, Elizabeth and William Bolf, Connor and Molly Sherren, and Jayla Rossi; brother, Steve Marvonek and his wife Toni; son-in-law, Vin Rossi; brother-in-law, Donald Pallanck and his wife Marylee; sister-in-law, Shirley Marvonek and her husband Sam; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Jane Rossi; and siblings, Paul, John, Ann, and Elizabeth. The family would also like to sincerely thank Susan’s caretakers, Cindy and Brenda, for all of their care and compassion. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016, with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a church service at 10 A.M. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 West Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
