Sylvan A. Tetrault's Obituary
Sylvan A. Tetrault, 85, of Stafford Springs, CT, husband of the late Genevieve D. (Vassau) Tetrault, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Arthur and Isabelle (Field) Tetrault. Sylvan served in the United States Navy Reserves, and retired as a buyer from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft. He loved being outdoors, cutting wood, working at the saw mill, farming, and visiting with people. He was a member of the Stafford Lions Club, West Stafford Fire Department, Town of Stafford Republican Town Committee, Town of Stafford Board of Finance, and the Connecticut Farm Bureau Association. Sylvan is survived by his three children, Teresa Boivin, Joseph Tetrault and his wife Wendy, and Sherri West; six grandchildren, Stephanie, Christine, Jason and his wife Morgan, Tony, Ben, and Heather; three great grandchildren, Cameron, Shane, and Clifford; five sisters-in-law, Shirley, Janice and her husband Harold, Sandy, Barbara, and Linda; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two sisters, June Kovaciny and Alice Passmore. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow at St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
