Teresa S. Meacham's Obituary
Teresa S. Meacham, 89, of Ashford, CT, wife of the late Fred W. Meacham, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016. She was born in Ellington, CT, to the late Teresa (Thibeault) White. Teresa worked as a caregiver at the Mansfield State Training School. She loved farming and gardening, and had a passion for Morgan Horses. Teresa is survived by her daughter, Sandra Welch and her husband Thomas of Ashford, CT; grandson, Seth Dietz and his wife Rachel of Fort Hood, TX; two great grandsons, Quintin and Kaden; two sisters, Hazel and Dee; her friends at Mansfield Supply; her dog, Charlie; and her cats, Sydney and Cleo. She was predeceased by her sister, Caroline; and two brothers, Edward and Anthony. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 5-7 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will take place privately in North Cemetery, Tolland, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Morgan Horse Association, 664 Pendleton Hill Rd., North Stonington, CT 06359.
