In the early 1980s. When living in East Hartford. I remember Kevin Miller and going to the same middle school at Sunset Ridge. Every morning on my way to school. Kevin and I would quincidentaly cross paths walking to school. Kevin always had a good sense of humor and was very focused on his expectations of himself, and what he wanted to do with his future. I remember wr had career day at school one day. After school Kevin and I were walking home and he asked me if I knew what I wanted to do when I graduated high school. I answered with a simple "no." He responded by day ing 5hat I should consider what I was going to do with my life. When I asked him in return what he was going to do, and he said he definitely wanted to be in law enforcement. Something that always stuck with me. He would later would join the military.(serving in the Persian gulf) As young adults I ran in to him on a few occasions. He was always eager to talk and catch up on things. I am proud to have known him and will miss the possible times in our lives we may have crossed paths again.
