Theodore Rummel's Obituary
Theodore Rummel, 73, of Patten Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Johnstown, PA, son of the late Theodore G. and LaFaun (McCowan) Rummel. Teddy worked as a custodian at Stafford High School, and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Teddy is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia L. (Fisher) Rummel; seven children, Theodore W. Rummel and his wife Cindy of Stafford Springs, CT, Robert Rummel and his wife Rosemary of Union, CT, Sherry Rummel, Brenda Rummel, James Rummel and his wife Tracy, Kathleen Champagne and her husband Joseph, and Timothy Rummel and his wife Joadie, all of Stafford Springs, CT; nine grandchildren, Bobby, Brian, Michael, Jake, Derek, Damon, James, Jared, and Savannah; a great granddaughter, Carolyn Rose; a brother, Ronald "Butch" Rummel of Wales, MA; a sister, Shirley Slavik of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Teddy's life on Saturday, November 29, 2008 from 1-4 P.M. at his home located on 13 Patten Rd., Stafford Springs, CT.
