Thomas H. Cannon's Obituary
Thomas H. Cannon passed away Monday morning, July 25, 2022. He is survived by his children, Jessica Cannon-Pinney (spouse Aiden Pinney), Thomas G. Cannon, Lauren Cannon (partner Ryan Lamson), and Patrick Cannon (partner Shellby Peterson); his grandchildren Amelia Lamson, Delilah Lamson, and Landyn Spiller; his sister Tommie Eason (spouse Sam Eason) and the mother of his children Catherine Cannon and partner Alexander Moore. Tom, or Brother to some of us, was a fireman, a dance class mom, an event chauffeur, a public servant, a friend in need, a confidant, a conspirator, an ally, an IT Specialist and most of all the Best Dad Ever. Tom was born and raised in Merrick, NY on Long Island, raised his children in Stafford, CT and finally moved to Rhome, TX. His transportation of choice was either a Rat Rod or a motorcycle; both of which he always drove too slowly. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to either the Rhome Fire Rescue, PO Box 228 Rhome, TX 76078 (Attn: Rhome Fire Rescue) or Stafford Ambulance Assoc., 27 Willington Ave., Stafford Springs, CT 06076. There will be a wake/memorial in both Rhome and Stafford; contact a family member for specifics as plans are made. Tom touched us all with his honesty, integrity, and sincerity. Tom will live on in our hearts and memories. We love you. The Best Dad ever!
