Thomas G. Simons' Obituary
Thomas G. Simons, 65, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February, 20, 2016. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Carl L. and Anna (Cheman) Simons. Tom served his country in the National Guard, and retired as an electrician from the State of Connecticut. He was an avid NASCAR fan, had an extensive antique radio and 45 record collection, and had a talent to rejuvenate or restore anything electrical or mechanical. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Brenda M. (Sfreddo) Simons; two sons, Stoney Simons and Corey Simons and his wife Kerri; two brothers, Timothy Simons and Terry Simons and his wife Tina, a special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Elizabeth Fournier; and longtime friend, Rudy Hollay. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Staffordville Cemetery, Staffordville, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
