Tina Niewinski's Obituary
Tina Marie Niewinski, 36, of Stafford, CT, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Hartford Hospital with her family and special friends at her side after a long and courageous battle with Lupus. She was born August 19, 1973, and was a graduate of Stafford High School and Bay Path College. She leaves behind her best friend and mother Donna Niewinski and father Jerry Niewinski; her brother and sister-in-law Jerry, Jr. and Meg Niewinski; and paternal grandparents Louis and Loretta Niewinski all of Stafford, CT. She also leaves her aunts and uncles Dan and Diane Waskiewicz of Ellington, CT, Diane Willis and her partner Ed Page of Stafford, CT, Debbie and Don Ratti of Stafford, CT, and Mick and Martha Niewinski of Stafford; and her cats Tyler and Maverick. She will also be missed by her cousins Kevin and Kim Waskiewicz, Jamie Willis, Lynnette Breier, Josh and Justin Ratti, and Nikki and Ryan Niewinski. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Mary Waskiewicz; and good friend Jennifer Barnett. In her short life, everyone Tina met she touched, and through all her trials and tribulations she always had a smile on her face or a smart comment to make that made you laugh right along with her. The family would like to thank everyone at Hartford Hospital that was involved with her care. Although we are all very saddened by the loss of Tina, we are relieved that she is no longer in pain and is now at peace. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 4, 2009 from 4-6 P.M. with a funeral service at 6 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hartford Hospital Transplant Program North 11, 80 Seymour St., Hartford, CT 06102.
