Traci Rae Hillebrecht, 57, of Stafford, CT, passed away on April 5, 2024 at Hartford Hospital with her family by her side after a long illness. She was born in Manchester, CT on December 21, 1966. Traci is survived by her parents, Read Obituary
This news makes me so sad. Traci and I were just randomly paired to be roommates our freshman year at RISD, but ended up living together for 4 years. We had so much fun together in Farnum Hall and then in our apartment at 59 Halsey St. My heart goes out to all of her family.
I just found out and i am devistated. Traci will always have a place in my heart. My deepest sympathies to her entire family.

Traci was a fighter. She was a strong woman who preserved no matter what she put her mind to. She made the world a better place for being in it. I'm blessed to have known her and to be a teammate when the gymnastic team won States. Traci you will be missed. Condolences to her entire family.

Traci was a spunky, smart, strong and fearless young gymnast. She strove daily for excellence in the gym, seeking her personal best and encouraging her teammates as they competed. Coaching her for many years, we saw that state championships were just the icing on the cake, as the reward of knowing she reached her goals brought ultimate satisfaction.
Through the years Traci set and achieved many goals... college, career, family life and most important, raising two wonderful children. Her health challenges in the past three years brought out the inner strength, focus and fight she demonstrated as a leotard clad dynamo. May she now rest in peace, leaving beautiful memories of a life well lived.
