Ursula Schmalenbach's Obituary
Ursula Schmalenbach, 89, of West Hartford, CT, loving wife of the late Herbert E. J. Schmalenbach, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. She was born in Germany, daughter of the late Wilhelm and Martha (Schultz) Jesswein. Ursula was a member of the Leiderkrantz German Club in Newington, and loved dancing and anything to do with frogs. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Lerch; grandson, Jason Lerch; great granddaughter, Chloe Ann; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Siegfried Jesswein. Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 3-5 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 5 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately in West Stafford Cemetery, Stafford, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
