Valerie J. Works' Obituary
Valerie J. Works, 55, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. She was born in Manchester, CT, daughter of Michael and Lois (Bennett) Lessizza. Valerie worked for many years as a data entry clerk at Visiting Nurse and Health Services of Connecticut. Her hobbies and enjoyments included camping, board and card games, going out to lunch with friends, and going to her nephew Devon’s baseball and football games. Besides her parents, Valerie is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Brian Works; two children, Anthony and Melissa Works; two sisters, Vicky Daigle and her husband Donald, and Vanessa Edwards and her husband Greg; mother-in-law, Alice Works; and two nephews and a niece Brandon, Devon, and Brooke. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Staffordville Cemetery, Staffordville, CT. Calling hours are on Sunday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Stafford Fire Department No. 1, P.O.
