Vera Kology's Obituary
Vera (Poleshuk) Kology, 91, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late George M. Kology, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bayonne, NJ, daughter of the late Samuel and Helen (Pasko) Poleshuk. Vera retired as an office clerk from the former Nelson Freightways in Rockville, was a member of the Stafford Baptist Church, and was an avid gardener. She is survived by her two daughters, Diane Woods and her husband Robert, and Georgia "Tootie" Greaves and her husband James; daughter-in-law, Collene Kology; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Woods, Bethany Woods-Hill, Nathan Greaves, and Damon, Adam, and Sarah Kology; three great grandchildren, Devon, Kianna, and Spencer; brother, William Poleshuk; two sisters, Florence Czapla and Dorothy Cheman; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Kology; brother, George Poleshuk; and sister, Anna Fisher. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 2 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
