Veronica Kominski's Obituary
Veronica P. Kominski, 83, of Ashford, CT, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Ashford, CT, daughter of the late John and Rose (Lesnick) Hnath. Veronica was a food service worker in the Ashford School System for many years. She had a love of animals and was an avid bird watcher. She enjoyed vacationing at Cape Cod, and was an avid Red Sox fan. Veronica is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Edward F. Kominski, Sr.; three children, Judith Banas and her husband Ted, Edward F. Kominski, Jr., and Jacqueline Grant; three grandchildren, Lee Valencia, Jacqueline Valencia, and Alexander Banas; two sisters, Beatrice Troiano and her husband Frank, and Rose Furness; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Kominski; and four brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 10 A.M. at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 64 Pompey Hollow Rd., Ashford, CT (Please meet at the Church). Burial will follow in St. Philip Cemetery, Ashford, CT. Calling hours are on Monday, September 10, 2012 from 4-8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
