Victor A. DeNardis' Obituary
Victor A. DeNardis, 73, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. He was born in Webster, MA, son of the late Vito and Theresa (Arduini) DeNardis. Vic served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He worked for 20 years as a warehouse selector at Sweet Life, and then as a highway attendant for the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation. Vic was a parishioner of St. Edward Church, and a member of the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion, V.F.W. Post No. 9990, and the Stafford Fish and Game Club. Victor was an avid hunter and ocean fisherman. He loved being outdoors enjoying mother nature. Papa Vic loved driving around in his pick-up truck with his dog Patches listening to music and singing loud. He always enjoyed taking rides with his best friend, Wayne Santoro, and going out to eat. If you stopped by to see him, Victor would always have something good to eat for you, he loved making food for everyone. Victor lived a full life and his family was his most valuable treasure. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lucille (Stratton) DeNardis; three children, Tania Sladek and her husband Keith, Jared DeNardis and his wife Rebecca, and Natasha DeNardis; two step children, Roger Pease and his wife Jessica, and Richard Pease and his wife Alicia; nine grandchildren, Zackary and Madison Sladek, Julia and Bella DeNardis, Autumn, Jacob, Adam, and Emma Pease, and Amos Pease; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph and William DeNardis; and grandson, Austin Fuller Pease. Victor’s family would like to give a special thank you to Nancy Allen (sister-in-law) for all of your help. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 3 P.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion, 10 Monson Rd., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
