Victoria J. Avery's Obituary
Victoria J. Avery passed away peacefully on the evening of March 6, 2024, surrounded by her family after a long illness. She loved her family and friends, trips to Maine and Moose watching, spending time in the outdoors and relaxing at her cabin. She enjoyed making crafts in her spare time and really loved her cats and chickens. She had a feisty personality, for example, her license plate was a novelty plate labeled “NUTZY”, but she has a very loving heart and was very compassionate with her family. She leaves behind her loving husband of 38 years, Wendell, along with two daughters and sons-in-law, Jacquelyn and Chris, and Jessica and Anthony, a granddaughter, Olivia, and two siblings, Kathy and Chris. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Victoria to Cancer Care at Saint Francis Hospital and be sent to the Saint Francis Foundation, 95 Woodland St., 2nd Floor, Hartford, CT 06105, or online at https://giving.saintfrancisdonor.com/donate.
