Violet R. Fletcher's Obituary
Violet Rose Fletcher (Otte), 91, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, with family and friends by her side after a short illness. Violet was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Lewis C. Fletcher; her siblings, Henry Otte, David Otte, Francis Otte, Rose Rickett, and Lil Stetson; and her parents, Charles and Clara (Horton) Otte.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Stafford Springs Fire Department and Staffordville Fire Department, and enjoyed spending time with family, bowling, bingo, and traveling.
She leaves behind two daughters: Cindy Rivera and her husband, Alberto Rivera, of Stafford Springs; and Barbara Galica and her husband, Edward Galica Jr., of Stafford Springs.
She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Ashley Lambert (Eric Chiang), Heather Clark, Danielle Desilets (William Desilets), Kirsten Moore, Brittnee Ives (Jacob Ives), and Christopher Moore Jr. (Olivia Roman); and her great-grandchildren: Angela Church, Halligan Clark, Layla Chartier, Josephine Chartier, Lewis Kopytko, Lucas Nieves, Atreus and Athena Desilets, and Lucy and Eloise Ives.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 5:00 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Forest Hill Cemetery, 115 Mt. Elam Rd., Fitchburg, MA.
