Virginia D. Guardiani's Obituary
Virginia D. (London) Guardiani, 85, of Tolland, CT, beloved wife of 60 years of marriage to the late Lawrence A. Guardiani, passed away on August 19, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT. She was born on August 10, 1938 in Houlton, ME. Ginny and Larry were the owners of G & L Construction Company. Early in her career, Ginny worked for Travelers Insurance, and was a hostess at The Public House. Her proudest accomplishment was raising her five children. Ginny enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, basket weaving, scrap booking, specialty cake decorating, playing cards with her friends, and cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. She took great pride in celebrating her 85th Birthday with her family, where her special day was perfect. Ginny is survived by her five children, Anthony Guardiani, Mark Guardiani, Dale Hebert, Tammy Long and her husband Roger, and Ginny McNulty and her husband Bob; eight grandsons, Mark, Jr., Michael, Brett, Evan, Nicholas, Hunter, Zachary, and Cody; great grandson, Sebastian; sisters-in-law, Marylou DiVicino and Elaine Guardiani; cousin, Linda Steadman; very dear friends, Red Riccio and Nancy Farrington; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and step father, Pauline (Gogan) and Albert Guarino; two siblings, Earl London and Laurie Bostwick; son-in-law, Michael Hebert; and special friends, Marie Riccio and MaryAnn Simpson. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with a memorial service to take place at 12:00 PM, at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Tolland Senior Center, 21 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT 06084.
