Virginia B. Halchek's Obituary
Virginia B. Halchek, 96, of Willington, CT, wife of the late Joseph Halchek, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at her home. She was born in Eastford, CT, daughter of the late Benjamin and Adeline (Sumner) Bosworth. Virginia loved her cats, stuffed animals and collection of dolls. Above all, she loved her family and the time she was able to spend with them. She is survived by her two daughters, Beverly Danser and Barbara Dion and her husband David, all of Willington, CT; six grandchildren, Ryan Danser, Tami Johnson and her husband Tim, Lori Johnson, Rebecca Matthews and her husband Jason, Aaron Dion and his wife Maiten, and Adam Dion; nine great grandchildren; eight great, great grandchildren; two sisters, June Staveski and her husband Ed, and Priscilla Hicks all of Eastford, CT; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters, Helen, Lois, Mildred, and Doris. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery, Eastford, CT. Calling hours are on Sunday from 3-6 P.M. at the funeral home.
