Wayne Davis' Obituary
Wayne R. Davis, 71, of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico and formerly of Union, CT; husband of the late Sarah "Sally" (French) Davis, passed away on January 20, 2013. His mother, Florence Bernadette (Rouleau) Desloge died on January 15, 2013. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT; son of the late Joseph Davis, step son of Robert R. Desloge and son of Florence Bernadette (Rouleau) Desloge. Wayne had worked at the Salvation Army in Puerto Rico. He was a member of the Congregational Church of Union. Wayne is survived by his two sisters, Kathleen Scranton and her husband Dennis, and Bernadette Dunay; two nieces, Samantha and Heather Dunay; and four nephews, Jason and Brett Hillman, Matthew Dunay, and Christian Scranton. A dual graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 2 P.M. at Union Center Cemetery, Cemetery Rd., Union, CT for both Wayne and his mother, Florence. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center ARC, P.O. Box 13814, Avenida Fenandez Juncos, Esquina Valdes; San Juan, PR 00908.
