Wesley Bradway's Obituary
Wesley R. Bradway, 86, of George Heck Rd., Union, CT, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2009 at his home. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Ralph and Ruth Bradway. Wes was the third generation owner of Bradway Farm, Inc., where he and his grandfather, father, and now son, work as dairy farmers. He was a member of the Congregational Church of Union, where he served as a Deacon for many years. He also served on various boards for the Town of Union, was active with many farming organizations, and enjoyed his vegetable gardens, hunting, fishing, and traveling with his wife. Wes is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Helen M. (Dunnebier) Bradway of Union, CT; four children, David Bradway and his companion Liz Bruce of Amherst, NH, Roger Bradway and his wife Lorna of McGaheysville, VA, Walter Bradway and his wife Janice of Union, CT, and Diane Murdock and her husband John of Union, CT; 10 grandchildren, Jacqueline Greer and her husband Bill, Dean Bradway, Jason Bradway, Michelle Olsen and her husband James, Heidi Bradway, Jennifer Kelly and her husband Peter, Michael Bradway, Steven Murdock and his wife Kelly, Heather Murdock, and Corey Murdock and his wife Kandace; 12 great grandchildren, Amber, William, Elizabeth, Catherine, Christine, Ciara, Leila, Gretchen, Cole, Mackenzie, Wesley, and Erin; a great, great grandson, Landon; three sisters, Dorothy Metz and her husband George of Cheshire, CT, Harriet Davies and her husband Roger of Ludlow, MA, and Cynthia Cooley and her husband Richard of Eastford, CT; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by two sisters, Barbara Wiggin and Helen Pero; and a great grandson, Brian Murdock. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 1 P.M. at the Congregational Church of Union, Buckley Highway, Union, CT. Burial will follow in Union Center Cemetery, Union, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 5-7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
