Wesley Stager's Obituary
Wesley G. Stager, 80, of Tetrault Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2008. He was born in Manchester, CT, son of the late Frank and Helen (Marcinowsky) Stager. Wes was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired as a machinist having worked for different companies throughout his career. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and trapping. He was also an avid gardener and coin collector. Wes is survived by his three daughters, Leslie Clark and her husband Keenan of Stafford Springs, CT, Joyce Stager and Sharon McCormack both of Manchester, CT; two grandsons, Joseph M. and Michael D. McCormack; a brother, Francis Stager of Stafford Springs, CT; his former wife, Barbara Zemanek of Vernon, CT; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service and burial with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 11 A.M. at the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown, CT.
