Wilhelmina Lewis' Obituary
Wilhelmina E. Lewis, 94, of Oxford, CT and formerly of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late William J. Lewis, Sr., passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at her home. She was born in Vienna, Austria, daughter of the late George and Regine (Huff) Bilsak. Wilhelmina was a member of St. Edward Parish and the Stafford Senior Center. She is survived by her two children, William J. Lewis, Jr. and his wife Linda of Charlotte, NC, and Susan R. Wiedl and her husband Richard of Oxford, CT; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren; a sister, Hertha Page of Wellesley, MA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Frederick Bilsak. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice at Home, 84 Oxford Rd., Oxford, CT 06478.
