William French,'s Obituary
William F. French, Sr., 88, of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved husband of the late Louise (Defoe) French, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Edward and Flora (Vine) French. Bill retired from United Technologies as an inspector. He was a member of St. Edward Parish, Rev. Felix J. O'Neil Council #1395 Knights of Columbus where he was a Fourth Degree Knight, and the Stafford Senior Center. Bill is survived by his son, William F. French, Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Florida; two grandchildren, William F. French III and his wife Diana of California, and Beth Ann Bailey and her husband Bruce of South Carolina; four great grandchildren; a brother, Adnah French of Stafford Springs, CT; two sisters, Ida Arellano of Colorado, and Lillian Heck of Stafford Springs, CT; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph French; and a sister, Doris Constaino. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
