William H. Hodge Sr.'s Obituary
William Hayes Hodge, Sr., 84, of Willington, CT passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Edwin “Bill” Hodge and Mary Catherine Hodge Nero. Bill grew up in Vernon and West Hartford, CT, and spent his career in sales for industrial chemical companies. He proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps, having been honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Pamela Jones Hodge; two children, William Hodge, Jr. and his wife Rebecca, and Eric Hodge and his wife Deanna; five grandchildren, Ryan, Kathryn, Liam, Conor and Abigail; three stepsisters, Shirley Vorisek, Deanna Peet and Margaret Patry; a special cousin, Michael Hills, who he grew up with and was like a brother to Bill; and his close friend of over 75 years, Don Zagora. A calling hour will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow the service at Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
