William Hornacek,'s Obituary
William R. Hornacek, Sr., 74, of Sartori Rd., Staffordville, CT, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2006 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Stafford, CT, son of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Koday) Hornacek. Willy retired from John the Jackman as a hydraulic repair man. He greatly enjoyed fishing and gardening. Willy is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Frances L. 'Pat' Hornacek of Staffordville, CT; three children, Karen Bull of Staffordville, CT, William R. Hornacek, Jr. and his wife Diane of Vernon, CT, and Terrie Whiteley and her husband Guy of New Hampshire; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four sisters, Elizabeth Figura of Staffordville, CT, Chirstina Michalec and her husband Martin of Union, CT, Anna Willis and her husband John of Stafford Springs, CT, and Lillian Willis and her husband William of Tolland, CT; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by three brothers and a sister. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at 11 A.M. at Staffordville Cemetery, Staffordville, CT.
