William Louis Karosi 90, of Ashford, Connecticut, passed on November 26, 2015. He was born in Manhattan, New York, on October 13, 1925 and moved to Ashford in 1937. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jeanette (Bilodeau) Karos Read Obituary
i worked with bill at pearl's appliances back in the mid 80's. bill was great to work with. He taught me alot and we had alot of laughs. Just learned of his passing... also worked with his son jeff at uconn too. I would have been at the service if i had known. bill was a good man!!!!

Bill was one of the greatest generation and for good reason. He was an American hero. I loved chatting with him and Jeanette and will miss him dearly. Sorry I learned of his passing too late to attend the service.

I'll never forget one night a long time ago Matt Me and coupe devilie were trying to dial in his 55 nomad tweaking the carb and trying to get the vacuum right so the tranny would shift hard to perform and chirp the tires needless to say it was a nice summer night so Matt and us with him took it out many times on 44 trying to get it to speedshift but we didn't realize it getting to be 3 am and Matt's dad came outside He said Verne you will be leaving now and Bill get back to Grovesnerdale and that was that Matt's dad never brought it up again to us He was a great man that never held a grudge with us RIP Mr. Karosi

Many years ago, Bill's brother Joe was my best friend and I got to know all of his family. Bill was a wonderful, kind-hearted man and a pleasure to be around. I had not seen him in many years but I have many fond memories of him and the entire Karosi clan. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
