William J. Loch's Obituary
William J. Loch, 98, of Vernon, CT, husband of the late Mary A. (Zigmond) Loch, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Jenners, PA, son of the late Michael and Mary (Mroziak) Loch. Bill served in the U.S. Army during World War II holding the rank of Private First Class in the 132nd Infantry Division. He retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft as a quality engineer inspector. Bill enjoyed golfing, working on cars, splitting wood, woodworking, riding his stationary bike, and built a color television from a Heath Kit before color televisions were prevalent. Bill instilled in his children a hard work ethic, high scholastic achievement, and the value of saving money. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Kirpan and her husband Gary of Moretown, VT and their children, Julie, Paul and his wife Cassie, Daniel, Jason, Michael, Racquel, Scott, Joseph, Sophie, Grace, and Milagro; daughter, Cynthia Aylward and her husband Jack of Rocky Hill, CT and their daughters, Mary Margaret and Jacqueline; 11 great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Joan, Betty, and Mary Rose Loch, and Lori Zigmond; brother-in-law, Steve Zigmond; and many nephews and nieces, including his god daughters, Nadine Dalbon and Elaine Pletsch. He was predeceased by five brothers and two sisters. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, with a procession forming at 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday from 6-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
