William P. Nevue Sr.'s Obituary
William P. Nevue, Sr., 83, of Stafford Springs, CT, husband of the late Lillian (Johnston) Nevue, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. He was born in Manchester, CT, son of the late Peter J. Nevue and Ethel (Dwyer) Greig. Wil retired from CUNO in Stafford as a screen repair technician. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and greatly enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Wil was predeceased by his step father, John Greig; and brother, Joseph Nevue. He is survived by his sister, Joan Potterton; eight children, William P. Nevue, Jr. and his wife Doreen, John Nevue, Marc Nevue, Michele Titus, John Johnson and his wife Katie, Shelley Andrews and her husband Stephen, Tisha Amis, and Jennifer Jahn and her husband Mark; grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Gary, Zachary, Edward, Dakota, Heather, Christopher, Ashley, Brittaney, Amanda, and Melanie; great grandchildren, Kylie, Jackson, Eliza, Ginny, Ava, Freya, Kristin, and Nicholas; his furry companion, Whiskey Jack; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 1-3 P.M., with a memorial service to take place at 3 P.M., at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
