Winifred Notman's Obituary
Winifred W. Notman, 84, of Clark Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Pittsfield, MA, daughter of the late Leonard and Marion (Wesley) Wills. Winnie retired as a branch manager from Connecticut Bank and Trust, and currently from the Stafford Housing Authority where she actively helped the tenants of Avery Park. She was a member of the Second Congregational Church of Stafford at West Stafford, and member of the Stafford Republican Registrar of Voters. Winnie is survived by her three daughters, Deborah Irish of Stafford Springs, CT, Wendy Long and her companion David Hemsworth of Holland, MA, and Karin Burns and her husband Paul of Stafford Springs, CT; two grandchildren, Melanie and Eric Long; three great grandchildren, Charles, Ariel, and Lexi; a sister, Lois Malley; a brother, Merton Wills; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Bruce Notman. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 12-2 P.M. with a funeral service at 2 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
