Woodrow W. Pitkat's Obituary
Woodrow W. Pitkat, 80, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Woodrow W. and Hazel (Jacobsen) Pitkat. Woody served our country in the United State Marine Corps during the Vietnam era, and retired from the State of Connecticut Department of Corrections. He enjoyed traveling to watch his son race, and in his earlier years, boating and his motorcycle. Woody is survived by his two children, Marteen Bochicchio and her husband Anthony, and Woody Pitkat and his wife Erica; seven grandchildren, Zachary, Benjamin, Calista, Zoey, Ella, Weston, and Bryce; brother, Francis Pitkat; brother-in-law, F. Joseph Paradiso; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Donna Paradiso. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 5-7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.
