Zoltin Paloczi's Obituary
Zoltin Paloczi, 79, of Ashford, CT, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Pacin, Hungary, son of the late Deszo and Elizabeth (Toth) Paloczi. Zoli worked for many years as a supervisor at the American Thread Company, and then worked as head custodian for the Ashford School system until retirement. He was a member of the Hungarian Social Club, and was an avid gardener. Zoli is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Lisette Paloczi; two daughters, Lina Janosi and her husband Michael of Ashford, CT, and Kathleen Vandegrift and her husband Donald of Stockton, NJ; five grandchildren, Ryan and Victoria Janosi; and Hope, Mariel and Peter Vandegrift; sister, Elizabeth Toth; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 10-11 A.M. with a funeral service to take place at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Woodward Cemetery, Ashford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ashford Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 1, Ashford, CT 06278.
