No matter how many days, night, weekends I spent with Amy, v/v, I would call the Nowzari residence to speak to my best friend and make plans or play. Each time Abdi answered, into my adulthood!- He would answer and say, "Who's Amanda??" It was his favorite little joke to say whenever i called. He never forgot to say it, either! He went to the end of the earth for his family...with never ending love, tough love, and support just for them. He shared a great bond and dedication to them, something you rarely see nowadays.
