Mrs DeNunzio and Family..I was saddened to hear about Al's passing.. I send my deepest condolences to everyone in the family..He was one of a kind.. I always loved seeing him when he came to Evergreen..May he rest in peace..May all the wonderful memories keep him close in your hearts.. Hugs Paula

Al will be fondly remembered as a true friend with a sense of humor that attracted folks to him as a magnet! Over the years I've met many people from all walks of life but few had the innate ability to fit in with anyone as easily as Al. If you needed a catalyst to "break the ice" with a group of "stuffy" folks Al would be on the top of your invitation list.
I also want to thank you and Al for the friendship you showed my brother Don vy always inviting him for some of your great Italian food and conversation sprinkled with humor and laughs. And Al's car was always warmed up to to either pick Don up
or return him to Weston, MA
Lastly, I never returned to Stafford without either calling or seeing Al so something will be missing on future trips.....so expect to hear from me. I know how much you all will miss Al but you have 62 years of memories that will be with you forever!

I fondly remember Mr. DeNunzio fitting my brothers and I for shoes back in the day when we were all so young. Our mom would bring us to see him at the shoe store and it was such a big event in our young lives. I remember his nice smile and kind demeanor.
My heart goes out to the entire family although I especially remember getting to know Zenna during our daily rides on the school bus. I will keep Al and all of you in my prayers; May he rest in peace. Al was a wonderful man and definitely made a mark on many in our town and in so many lives.
