To Al's family/friends,
I want to send my sincere condolences on the passing of Al. I worked with him for many years at The Hartford and had the privilege of being on the receiving end of some of his glass. Although we lost contact years ago, I always received a Christmas card from him, thus I always think of him.
To Al's family and friends. Did not know it at the time of course, but Al and I had a nice talk and said Goodbye for the last time at last fall's Hartford Retiree's outing. He was the same Ole Al I'd known and liked for over 30 years - talking about antiques and people he knew at The Hartford. Marcie worked with him on automation projects and underwriting and recalls his great support and the meetings at the Polo Grounds antique shows. All good memories. We will miss his wit and worldly commentary too!
Al was our agency's trusted and expert bond underwriter for years. he became a friend and a client. We sorely missed him at The Hartford after his retirement and will miss his visits to the office.
