Albert Edgar's Obituary
Albert W. Edgar, 76, of Main St., Somers, CT, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born and raised in Enfield, CT, and lived in Somers, CT all of his life after graduating from the University of Connecticut. Albert was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and retired from the Hartford Group, having worked as a Bond Underwriter for many years. He had a great interest in antiques, and was an expert in patterned glass and Victorian lighting. At Albert's request, there will be no funeral services, and burial will be held privately. Memorial donations in Albert's name may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
